Chromebook Technical Support

General guidelines are below. Please see the MCPSS Chromebook Handbook for complete details.

Important Note - Chromebooks should never be taken to an outside computer service for any type of repairs or maintenance.

Technical Support & Chromebook Loaners

During the school year, if a student Chromebook is not functioning properly:

• Grades K-5 - Students should notify their teachers.

• Grades 6-12 - The student should arrange to deliver the Chromebook to the Library/Media Center.

If necessary, a technical support employee of the MCPSS will assess the Chromebook and attempt any necessary repairs. In all cases, if a loaner device is available, one will be issued to the student
